I created Copelandian Paradigm in 2013. Here I wanted to convey a mental tapestry interwoven with various elements that kept showing up in my visions and experiences with the Copelandia Cyanescens mushrooms over the years. The scene is a complete vision of a reincarnation process realized in hyperspace. During these particular journeys I would have the distinct impression that we were these eternal hyperdimensional mischevious elven beings that would play around with some sort of recursively fractalized bio-machinery. In hyperspace we would jump into these “machines” and incarnate into fleshly 3D vessels as babies and experience an entire life on “Earth” much like a simulation or game of sorts and return as jolly elves out the other side of the machine as we died on earth. Time was non-existent here in a state of eternal play but the time spent on earth was a profound learning experience every single time.
I love the art of Yoko D’holbachie and was quite inspired and influenced by some of her art during the time I made Copelandian Paradigm
I created this image over a period of a couple of weeks, putting in about an hour or two of work per day. Copelandian Paradigm was created using: Photoshop, Painter, Cinema 4D, and Zbrush
